Optimal Command and Control

iX is the command-and-control software platform included in INOVA’s seismic acquisition systems that supports optimally efficient operations through visualization, QC, data management, reporting and analytics. The iX technology is supported in two softwares - iX1® and iX™ Studio - which serve as the central hub for seismic project and data management for both nodal and cable acquisition systems.

iX Studio

iX Studio is part of a new era of user-friendly software for nodal seismic operations. This software was built upon years of successes from iX1 and now offers an intuitive approach to nodal seismic operations through a suite of applications. An enhanced HyperQ™ QC analysis, Transcriber processing and advanced battery management are just a few of many new features that provide unparalleled technology to optimize nodal systems.

iX1 is a robust acquisition software package that is used to support cable, nodal and hybrid operations. The software is scalable to support projects from small 2D operations to mega channel surveys, field proven on 190,000 active path surveys in the Middle East. iX1 consolidates source control and spread management into one simplified view to help crew members gain greater awareness of field seismic operations. iX1 is optimized for High-Productivity Vibroseis Shooting (HPVS) and includes features, such as dynamic multi-path data re-routing, Time-Distance Rules and HyperSource communication.

Download and Data Management System Software and hardware elements for all aspects of nodal data download, transcription, system configuration, vibroseis correlation, QC, survey, layout and pick-up.
Data QC Live traces are analyzed for RMS Signal, Noise, SNR and adjacent trace correlation, results are presented as information-rich pixels, color indicates user dictated pass/fail criteria, shade indicates signal amplitude levels; an observer can quickly and reliably QC tens of thousands of receiver points at a glance.
Source QC Uses information contained in the PSS and PFS data to provide production statistics and user-friendly production QC visualization.
In-field Operational Tools X1 Field software runs on purpose-built, portable computers designed for rugged field operations. The software includes the ability to synchronize data between field tools and the iX1 system. In addition, a user-friendly QC application is available for Andriod OS devices
